Stay connected to God

This blog is my 100th blog. I am so grateful and thankful for this blog, and for God, my Pastor, and Apostle Kanya for trusting me to be able to do it. Apostle Kanya, who is my aunt makes sure to upload my blog, she corrects it of talks to me if their needs to be any corrections. She came to me one day about doing a youth blog and here we are today! I’m thankful for all of the support and encouragement I have been receiving from my family, and for my Pop Pop, my Pastor Chief Apostle H.C. Gunn, for influencing and teaching me in the best way! Most importantly, I want to thank God for trusting me and for giving me the capabilities to carry this blog. God gives me what to say and I want to make sure I am a vessel and a messenger for him! I love and thank all of y’all!
About two Sundays ago, my Pop Pop said God showed him four digits, 8092! Those last four digits are the end of my phone number! When I prayed that day I told God it amazes me "how there’s billions of people in the world and you still know each and every one of us personally!" God tries to stay connected to us all the time, and the way he does it doesn't seem like he has all of these children, because he is so personal with us. So many times we don’t put God first, but he still puts us first every time, as our Father.
Stay connected to God.
We all have a cell phone and we can easily call or text anyone. Imagine that you had a phone connected directly to Jesus. Would you not pick up when he calls? Would you see the phone call and ignore it? Would you pick up the phone immediately? Or would God be the main one calling you and you don’t take time to call him first? There's so many questions we can ask ourselves to see where we stand.
We have to make sure we stay connected to God. We have a phone line directly to God and that’s prayer. Prayer helps you stay connected to God. Pray with sincerity. Draw close to God in prayer. Don’t let satan take your prayers, which is your direct line to God. A phone call works both ways, so its the same with the personal time God gives us .... let’s make sure we also give it to him!
