An Eternal Commitment

Pastor Amaya Stewart

3/18/2024

March 18, 2024 - All last week, I had been reading about Jesus and his sacrifice for us.

Read: 1 Peter, ll Peter, and 1 John.

In these scriptures, we learn about Jesus, his walk with his father, and the things he commands us to do.

They also teach us how we are supposed to love Jesus and God, and it was very eye-opening.

Jesus loves us, but he loved is father first, and he wanted to be obedient.

Jesus was committed to obedience and that’s how he was able to be perfect before God! He had pure obedience toward his father no matter what, and he knew that whatever his father told him that was what he was going to do - because he loved him and respected him.

The other Sunday, my Pop Pop, Chief Apostle H.C. Gunn, brought forth the message "IT SHALL BE WELL," and we know that when God says something he doesn’t lie.

It is important to have faith and hold on to what God has spoken over us. We can make it, if we try.

God has been telling us all is well because Jesus died for us and our sins are forgiven, and we can live with him in eternity!!!!

This blog is short but reading the word is most important, so I strongly encourage you to take time and read those scriptures !!
