Are You Standing Up For Jesus

Hebrews 9:22-28
22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many, and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Imagine this, you are on trial for a crime, and you know you committed that crime. Your lawyer is trying everything he can to prove to them you're not guilty. A person testifies on your behalf, and you are set free. Think of Jesus as the person testifying. Jesus is talking to God on our behalf. No matter how many times we messed up and sinned against God, Jesus died for us. He went through so much torture and pain for us, and he is still in heaven talking to God on our behalf.

Jesus is fighting for us, are you fighting for him? Don’t get confused. Jesus and God are the same person, but they are still separate. Think about this, I am a daughter, granddaughter, and niece. I have three different titles, but I am one person. We have to fight for Jesus on earth. We have to stand up for him no matter what. We are God’s army; we are supposed to be his fighters ready for battle. We are constantly in battle every day with sin, Satan, our flesh, and even ourselves. But we have to choose Jesus and we have to fight for him. Jesus is amazing and we need to make sure we are choosing him over everything and everyone.
