Be For God

During service last Sunday, Chief Apostle H.C. Gunn told the body that his wife Apostle Felicia told him "If God be for us, who can be against us?" In my Bible, I have extra notes elaborating on different verses in the scriptures and it says regarding the verse she mentioned:

•God is for us
•God will freely give us all things
•God alone is our judge
•Christ and the Holy Spirit are our helpers
•Nothing can separate us from the love of God
•We are more than conquerors over all enemies through Jesus Christ

What this scripture, Romans 8:31, and the commentary tell me is that God fights for us. We see that God is on our side and does everything to help his children. No matter what the enemy does he can’t take us down because God is for us. Since God is on our side, we don’t have to worry because we know who the God we serve is.

Just like God fights for us, we have to fight for God. Show God he didn’t waste his life and time on us and that we will keep fighting the enemy and we won’t give up. Let's show God our commitment to keep being a witness for him and to keep being obedient to him, etc.

We can do a lot of things to show God that we will stand and fight for him just like he has been doing for us.
