Be grateful

I am working in the hospital finishing up my preceptorship as I prepare to become a nurse. And going in and out of those rooms makes me thank God that I don’t have to be a patient in the hospital.
There are so many things we have to be thankful for. God gives us another chance every day that we see. When we look at someone else who may be going through more than us, it should cause us to be more thankful than ever.
God gave us a word saying he is here to heal, provide, bless, etc., but even before that word we already have had plenty to be thankful for — we are already rich in God!
We have to look at things through God’s eyes and not our own. I’m thankful for what God has been reminding me. I know I wouldn’t want to be getting IVs, catheters, tubes, meds after meds, or experience not being able to move on my own every day.
As I was writing this I was falling asleep, and I wasn’t sleepy before I started writing. This is just an example of how the enemy wants to fight this blog and our gratefulness, but he can’t stop it.
See everything you need, God has already done for you in your life, and we have to be thankful because God always takes care of us!
Give God thanks. We didn’t have to see this new day, but by God’s grace, we are able to see it.
