Don't Feed Your Flesh

Romans 8:56 says:

"For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh. But they that are after the Spirit, the things for the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death. But to be spiritually minded is life and peace."

Don’t feed your flesh! If you’re not trying to serve God then you will do whatever your flesh desires, no matter what it is. But if you are focused on serving God, you shouldn’t want to feed your flesh.

For example, your parents told you to be home at a certain time, but you decide to come home later
because you don’t want your friends to laugh at you. You’re feeding your flesh by not
being obedient to your parents.

You want your friends to think your cool so you don’t listen to what your parents told you what to do. We also do that with God. We know God told us to do this certain thing, but we do the opposite like Jonah. Don’t feed sin, and don’t feed your flesh.
