Don’t Wait Before It’s Too Late

Isaiah 55:6-7
6 Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

Don’t wait too late to get saved! Turn your life back to God. Some of you may be in a back sliding state, and some of you may not have given your lives to Christ. But today could be the day you go back to Him. Every breath we have to be thankful for. Every heartbeat we have to be thankful for. We have to be thankful for these things because that’s our second chance or that may be our opportunity to get saved. If you’ve sinned against God that next breath is another chance to repent and like my pastor, say, “Journey on.”

God doesn’t hold grudges. We think God doesn’t want us because we sinned against him or went into a back sliding slate. But God is waiting for his prodigal son to come home. Don’t miss your opportunity to go back to God because eventually you will run out of time. God will turn you over to your own uncleanness. God keeps showing us mercy and grace, but how many more times? What if you already told God, you are not going back to him? Yet, he still has his arms open for you. Don’t let that door of opportunity close. Get out of the cave and go to the mountain top. God is waiting for you to be his servant, but you have to take that step.
