Don't Go AWOL On GOD

Jesus never left us alone.

John 14:26 says, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto.”

Isaiah 34:16 says, “Seek and read from the book of the Lord: Not one of these shall be missing; none shall be without her mate. For the mouth of the Lord commanded, and his Spirit has gathered them."

Jesus never abandoned us. So, why do we abandon Him? God has provided everything we need. But we don’t think that is enough. We have instructions and a teacher dwelling in us. He also provides us with pastors, prophets, prophetesses, ministers, and help. God gave us everything we need to live with Him eternally and he showed us the way.

Why do we act so prideful? Sometimes we act like we don’t need God, but we will beg the next person for some money. The things in the world will dissipate, and guess who is still going to be here? God.

We choose to go to the wrong people instead of just going to God. God is who we need. We can have the Holy Ghost dwelling in us all the time if we feed him. Our Spirits shouldn’t be starving, we should be full. God may sometimes not answer you then, but that doesn’t mean he abandoned you.

Treasure everything God has left for you. We can get better and better every single day. You may start off reading a little verse every day, but eventually, you’ll just want to stay in the Word. We've got to have a hunger for God.
