Fight the (Right) Enemy

I have been reminded of Ephesians 6:12 multiple times throughout this week.

Ephesians 6:12 says, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

The enemy is going to do everything he can to hurt us. The enemy doesn’t want to see any of us happy or joyful in the Lord.

He may use people who we love, who are close to us, etc. to attack and hurt us, but we can’t let the hurt go too deep. We have to show the enemy that we are not going to let envy, bitterness, unforgiveness, etc. build up in us.

If you are living for God, the enemy is going to use whoever he can to bring you down. We are in spiritual warfare every day, but we have to choose to fight for our souls. Don’t let the enemy stop you!

Don’t let the enemy cause you to build things up in your heart. Don’t let the enemy bring you down, and also don’t get in a place where the enemy can use you to hurt someone else!
