Greater Plans

Pastor Amaya Stewart

Aug. 23, 2024

God’s plan is greater than our plans.

My pastor, Chief Apostle H.C. Gunn, gave me a word from the Lord. He said: “God will lead me and guide me in my life."

I believe God has been doing just that. People may ask how do you know if it’s God’s plan or your own plans, but God will show you.

Pray, seek God, and seek counsel and he will show you.

Did you even try to pray about your decision before you made it? Are you happy with what you’re doing right now? I believe many times God already has shown us his plan for us because he gives us talents.

We may think we don’t know God’s plan but he has already shown us. We just have to seek God and he’ll expand our understanding. We were created for God’s glory and we were made in the image of him.

God needs his people in every type of area to help win souls for his kingdom and to be a witness. Many times, I’ve seen our leader speak over people with callings from God and it matches their personality or the talents I see in them, because God made us for his glory.

Go to God, lay it at his feet, pray and seek him, and ask what is his plan for your life. But if you’re not saved you could be hearing Satan's plans rather than God’s plan.

Satan deceived Adam and Eve and he tries to deceive us every day, but if you’re saved you know who is fighting for you. How can we truly follow God’s plans for our life, if we haven’t accepted him in our life?

God knows the plans he has for you but if you are not serving him and don’t choose to listen to good counsel how can you fully know?

Be encouraged. Be a vessel for God and not Satan. God created you for a purpose!
