I Give You My Today

Romans 12:1 says: "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service."
I am a college student and I drive to school and in the morning on the way to school I make sure to pray. One of the things I say is "God, I give you my today."
Giving God your every day is a part of presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice. We don’t know what God could have planned in our day, what he might want to use us for, or what he may want to show us, etc.
So, if we give God our today, we are inviting him in and asking for his will to be done throughout the day, and every day. If you ponder on the days that you left God out, think about how weird, emotional, stressed, bothered, tempted, etc. you may have felt.
The key is give God every day. God has a plan for every one of our lives and we've got to seek him and let his will be done in our life. But in order for his will to be done, we have to make sure we are obedient to him.
Give God your today! We have let the devil have his way for far too long. And we have let ourselves have our own way for far too long. We don’t waste any time giving our day over to the devil or our flesh but we seem to always be slow to surrender our time to God.
We must give God every day!
Don’t give room to the Devil or don’t let your own way get in the way.
Give God your today!
