Let Go

Don’t compromise with the devil. The devil is lurking, trying to see who he can destroy, but the devil can’t destroy us unless we allow him to.
Jesus died for us, and he defeated sin and flesh in the flesh (as a person like you and me)—something the law could not do. Jesus defeated sin! So, we are no longer bound to sin, and we have been set free. Yet, some are still bound by sin and the ways of the flesh because they won’t let go. We must decide to let go of sin and not walk in our flesh but serve and follow after God. Remember: The devil is pure evil. He is only out for himself. He doesn’t care for, love, or want you, but God does.
Jesus defeated the enemy with God’s word. God gave us all the power we need to defeat the enemy, but we must stop trying to be friends with the enemy. The devil is not our friend, but many choose to live in the flesh, and that’s the same as welcoming the devil and allowing him to rule in your life. We are God’s people! We were not created to serve the devil, yet many have been tricked! But God can open our eyes.
“And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?”
II Corinthians 6:15 NKJV
“And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said, "I will dwell in them. And walk among them. I will be their God. And they shall be My people.””
II Corinthians 6:16 NKJV
