Obedience to God

At service on Tuesday, my pastor told the body, we think too small when it comes to God because we are lacking in obedience.
Obedience means, compliance with an order, request, or law or submission to another's authority. We are obedient to our parents, but why can’t we be obedient to God? God was our first parent; he is our father.
God has told our body to trust him, and trust ties in with obedience. For example, if someone you know tells you to do something, but you don’t trust them like that, you might be hesitant to do what they said or you might not do it at all. In order to be obedient to God, we have to trust him. If you don’t trust God, how can you be obedient to him?
If God told you to sow a seed and you know you don’t have that much money, would you be obedient or not? People who lack trust in God might be hesitant to do it, they might ignore what God said, or they do it, but they might talk trash in their minds. Obedience is a big part of walking with God. God wants to use us, so he may send us to do different things. When we get our trust and obedience up, we can see that God can do anything!
Luke 11:28 He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”
