One Man

Romans 5:

“12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned— 13 (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. 15 But the free gift is not like the [offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. 16 And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned.”

Through one man who sinned (Adam), sin entered into the whole world. Through one man who died (Jesus), mercy, grace, redemption, repentance, forgiveness, and new life entered into the world. It took one man to change the world!

How are our actions affecting everyone around us? We don’t think about how what we do or say has an effect on people around us — but it does.

If we are unwilling, our children could receive the seed of unwillingness, and whoever we are unwilling to help they could be affected or hurt by our unwillingness.

ONE MAN changed the entire world! We are all responsible and held accountable for our lives, and God is watching us. We say we are the Body of Christ, but if one part is not functioning correctly then the whole body will be affected.

We can’t think selfishly as if what we do does not affect anyone else because it does, and we should want people to look at us and see we are being ambassadors for Christ and not for Satan!

I’m thankful for the Word. Today’s blog may be short, but it’s straight to the point! Amen!
