Our life is not our own

James 4:1-3: "From whence come wars and fightings among you? Come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts."

These verses are talking about how when we can’t get what we want: we'll fight, we’ll murder ... we’ll do anything to get it. What if God just gave us everything we wanted no matter what it was? We will do everything we can to get our way, but we should be wanting God’s way and not our way. God has been bringing forth all of these wonderful messages (through the services, broadcasts, etc.), because he wants us to want his way all the time, ever second, every minute, and everyday.

God is trying to breakdown our flesh, so we don’t feed it. So, we can walk in the Spirit and walk in his way every day and not our own way. One songs says: “My life is not my own, to you I belong, I give myself to you.”

Our life is not our own, we were created for God and to have a relationship with him. We were created to serve him, worship him, fulfill the missions he has placed over our lives, and to help spread his word, and much more. Like the message that was preached on Friday by Apostle Peterson said: Get to the real you! (The you that was created to serve God before you were put in your mother's womb.)

I didn’t know where this blog was going, but I knew what God wanted me to say. I was thinking on how everything would flow together, but God brought it right in line. (He wants to bring everything in our lives right in line.) Thank you, Jesus!
