REPENT

Repent!
There are diverse ways people may repent. When you receive salvation, you confess to God you are a sinner, and you ask for repentance for all your sins. In this form of repentance, you are making a 180 degree turn from sin and your old ways, not 360 degrees because that means you are right back where you were.
Another way is if you are already saved and you ask God for repentance.
You may pray, “God I repent. Please forgive me for all my sins and for every commission and every omission.”
Commission means the sins that you are aware of that you have done, and omission means sins you don’t know you have committed.”
When we repent, we are supposed to confess our sins and not do them again. But that is where we miss it.
Yes, Jesus died for us so we can seek forgiveness because we will mess up, but when you repent ...
you should have the intention in your heart to not do that again. If you truly mean it, it will be easier for you to resist that sin.
Some things may be harder to resist and that’s why Jesus died for us. Another key thing we miss is we have to confess our sins. We may not be aware of all the sins but I'm sure you know at least two of them.
Confess to God, he will forgive you and you have to be sincere with it.
If you truly hurt someone and apologize for it, you would want them to forgive you.
We want God to forgive us but check your sincerity. God can read through all of it, and we have to learn: don’t say words just to say it.
Be sincere about it and to God!
