Stop trying to fit in!

"Love not the world, neither the things that are in it."

God gave every one of us our own mind. We have a mind to think for ourselves. God did not create us to be like everyone else. Everything in this world will go away -- it is all temporary. Be who God called you to be, it’s ok to not fit in with the crowd. Behind the trends you see ... is hell, and people are trying to satisfy their flesh, but the flesh can never be satisfied.

So many times we run to follow someone else when God calls us to be a leader. When I got saved, my aunties talked to me about how to cover and carry myself and I decided to switch my wardrobe to wearing dresses and leave behind jeans and other things that I felt were inappropriate or too revealing. People may talk about me or think I’m weird but I don’t have to fit in with everyone else. The flesh wants you to show off and be uncovered but God wants us to carry ourselves like ladies and gentlemen. We are royalty in God’s kingdom and can carry ourselves in that way. Be who God made you to be. The devil wants everyone to operate in the flesh, but you choose to be saved and serve God -- inside and out.
