Take Heed

For the past month my Pop Pop, Chief Apostle H.C. Gunn, has been reminding us over and over that God is our strength. Sometimes we may hear the Word, but we be questioning and sometimes we wonder, “God what are you talking about”?

God knows exactly what he is talking about, and he doesn’t waste words, as my Grandma, Apostle Felicia says.

My Pop Pop and Grandma have been experiencing some things this past week, but they have continued to trust in the Lord, and he has continued to strengthen them. God said that he is our strength and he will strengthen us and this week showed that God doesn’t waste words.

I’m so thankful we have a God that is millions of steps ahead of us, and even though I’m young, I’m proud of my grandparents for being a great example for us! God is with us, and he is here to lead us, but we have to listen and obey him!

Every word God speaks is important and we can’t let it go over our heads. We can’t let it go in one ear and out the other. We can’t leave it right after we hear it. We have to take heed to every word and apply it into our lives everyday!

Mark 13:33: Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.
