The Battle

A couple of weeks ago, we went on a family trip to Dothan, Alabama. Before I continue, I want to say "thank you" to Chief Apostle H.C. Gunn, Apostle Felicia, and everyone who helped on the trip. I enjoyed myself!
Toward the end of the trip and when we got back home, God had witnessed through different ones an important reminder to me. There were about three or four people who came to me and said, "Satan will try to use the ones closest to you to hurt you."
God was trying to tell me, through them, that Satan is out to truly hurt me in any way he can. But I can't let Satan have that power over me, thinking he can hurt me. The way we defeat Satan, when he tries to hurt us, is to call him out and to know that we wrestle not against flesh and blood.
Satan will use whoever he can to knock you down, because pain is very hurtful, whether it's physically, spiritually, or emotionally. If you let the pain go too deep, let it cause you to backslide, let it tempt you to stop trusting God, or let it cause you to stop being obedient to him, etc., then you're letting Satan have his way with you.
Satan is out to hurt you. And if he isn't fighting us, we must check and see if we are doing what he is telling us to do and working on his side. Because, as saved Children of God, Satan is supposed to try to hurt and attack us in every way, because he knows on God's side, we have the victory.
Remember, we wrestle not against flesh and blood. Show Satan that whatever he throws at you, you won't be moved because God is on our side. And know, if you're standing on the right thing, nothing can take you off of it. Yes, it will hurt, and it may not be as easy to let go every single time, but let God fight the battle for you. Choose to keep journeying on!
Ephesians 6:12: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
