The Ram in the Bush

Today, I will be coming from Genesis Chapter 22. Usually when I get ready to write the blog God deals with me right then as I’m writing it and he tells me what he wants me to say, but this one was a little different. God has been dealing with me in one way or another all week about “the ram in the bush”. On Tuesday, we were called to have service at the house. My father talked to us about how God tests you to see how far you are willing to go or sacrifice for God to be obedient to him.
One thing that has been sticking with me is “the ram in the bush.” God told Abraham to sacrifice his son and Abraham was getting ready to do it when an angel told him to stop, because God saw how far Abraham was willing to go for him. Then, there was a ram in the bush and Abraham used that to give as a sacrifice to God. God in some point of our lives has provided us with a ram in the bush. What I mean by that is, God will find a way to reward you for your sacrifice. God sees everything we do for him, and he knows who is willing to be obedient to Him no matter WHAT!!
God will reward his children for being obedient to him. Sometimes we have to give up certain things for God and we could think we have lost so much. For example, God told you to give your light bill money away, and you are obedient, but after you’ve done it now, you're wondering how your lights are going to stay on. We have to trust God in the process, he knows what he is doing. What if after you give your light bill money away, you get a notification saying some money dropped money in your bank account or paid off your bill. That’s your ram in the bush.
God rewarded and provided for you because you were obedient to him. God is most important! We have to be ready to be obedient to him no matter what, and we have to trust him. Now, don’t do anything for God just because you want a reward, it’s not about that. It’s about being obedient to God because you love him. God won’t let his children lack, but how far are we willing to go for Him?
