They that wait on the Lord

Pastor Amaya Stewart

4/16/2023

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isa. 40:31)

Wait on the Lord. We shouldn’t be moving 10 steps before God and we are looking back to see where God is. We should want God to be ahead of us always so that he can lead us. Waiting on the Lord also ties into the message Apostle Kanya talked about on Friday. She was instructing us about abiding in God, and it was a great, anointed and powerful message. When we are trying to abide in God, we also have to wait on God, because how can we tell God: I’m not going anywhere, if we can’t wait on and in him.

Chief Apostle Gunn always says to get in your wait and wait on the Lord. In the wait, there's strength, deliverance, blessings, corrections, instructions. We're building our faith and trust in God, and being renewed, etc., when we wait on in the Lord. All of this will help us to abide. Pray and wait on the Lord. You do your part and the Lord will do the rest!
