Trust God

Pastor Amaya Stewart

The other week, I had a few very important tests for school, and every college student knows that finals week is a very tough week. In my classes, I have had some difficulties, I made some bad grades, and I didn’t know if I would make it to the next semester.

I talked to my Pastor, my Pop Pop, Chief Apostle H.C. Gunn and he prayed for me, encouraged me , and gave me advice. I also received prayers, help, and encouragement from my family. My grandma, Apostle Felicia, shared a testimony with me that helped me and it blessed me and God gave her instructions for me to do. My Pop Pop told me that God said it will fall into place, and he also said that he saw me take another step.

I say all of this because I passed my classes and I am able to move on further, but God had already spoken that it will all fall into place. Sometimes things falling into place may not look the way we think it’s supposed to look. We could think, "oh, everything’s going to go as planned or be perfect." But God said it will fall into place (his way). He didn’t say the journey would be steady or easy or the way we want it to go.

I thank God, I was able to hold on to God's Word, and I didn’t care what score I received. I just wanted to pass my class.

Trust in God. We don’t know what the journey will look like or what we’ll have to go through to get to where God wants us to be, but he will provide and it will pay off after awhile !
