Unconditional Love

Unconditional means not subject to any conditions. God shows us unconditional love every day. God didn’t list a certain set of conditions to receive his love, he shows it to us anyway.
So why, as humans, do we set conditions for other people to receive our love?
-If someone doesn't like us, then we don’t like them.
-If someone doesn't give to us, then we don’t give to them.
-If someone does wrong by us, we hold a grudge against them, etc.
I know in certain situations you may not be able to give to everyone. If you give to certain people, it could cause a cankerworm to come into your situation because you could be sowing into something that isn’t holy, but besides that we have set requirements people must meet to receive our love.
It could be only your bloodline receiving your love or only your children receiving your love, etc. God loves us unconditionally and even when we hurt him, he still loves us and is still rooting for us.
The past message and the blog shared that God said he is not giving up on us and that shows unconditional love because we can be ready to stop trying or give up on someone when we feel like they aren’t listening, but we can’t be like that. God is love and if we can’t love him, we definitely can’t love one another.
God said love me first with all your heart, mind, soul, and then love your neighbor as yourself. God said these are the top commandments we must follow, and we must check ourselves and see if we are following God's commandments that he has laid out for us. You can’t show unconditional love if you don’t truly love God.
Matthew 22
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
