What About Holiness

1 Thessalonians 3:12-13: 12 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you 13 To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ will all his saints.
We all have sinned, and we were born with a sinful nature. We are all sinners, but God has given us the opportunity to be unblameable. What I mean by that is, God has given us the key to be clean, pure, washed, renewed, etc. Unblameable means innocent, free from guilt, etc. We have the chance to get rid of the sin we may be living in or have lived in.
What about holiness? Holiness means to be set apart. God is holy. No one has ever heard of God sinning. why? Because he is perfect. Yes, God dwelt amongst sinners in the form of his son Jesus because he was trying to save souls. There's a difference between what God does and what we as a human race we do.
We will dwell amongst sinners and act like them, we will try to blend in, and no one will be able to tell us apart. But God never participates with sinners. Jesus didn’t do what the sinners did, he tried to be an example and help them to get saved.
When we devote our life to God, we are supposed to be separated from the world. People should be able to tell that we are saved. Yes, God may send us on different missions to help get sinners saved, but he didn’t say live how they do!
When we receive salvation, one of our missions is to spread God’s word, and get souls saved. We have to be God’s sheep and his messengers to help bring his children home. But we have to be HOLY! God can’t use us if we are still trying to live in sin.
For example, God sent you to help a person who has an alcohol addiction, but when you go and try to help them you start wanting to drink alcohol and you slowly start to develop that addiction. We have to make sure we are in the place where God can send us out to save other souls, and yet he trusts us to still protect our souls.
Satan will try to come in every way he can, but if we are holy and choose to separate, with God we can help save his children's souls!

A note from Apostle Kanya: Please join me in congratulating Pastor Amaya in the comments below, as well. This coming week marks her one year anniversary as our youth blogger. When I came to her about doing the blog back then, she was readily available and she has never missed a post since. She juggles college classes, helping raise her siblings, leading the youth choir, ministering to the youth and so much more, yet never misses a beat on this blog! She has been faithful, accountable and most of all has shared the word of God without hesitation. I am so proud of you Amaya! Congrats! Keep up the amazing work!
