What Are You Doing With Your Seeds

Colossians 2:6-7:
"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."
When we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we have to live in him each and every single day. We can’t choose to this day serve God, but the next day choose to serve Satan. When you aren't serving God, you're serving Satan no matter how you look at it.
We are supposed to choose to serve God every day, 24 hours a day. The word teaches us and helps us to live in God everyday, as well as prayer, the preaching from our leaders, choosing to not sin against God etc. We have to decide to live for God every day, it shouldn’t be cut off like a light switch.
Different seeds have been planted in us that help influence and encourage us to serve God in one way or the other. Maybe it was a message from your pastor, an aunt's encouragement, a sermon you heard on the radio, etc. Whatever it is, that seed is planted in you, and it is up to you if you are going to continue to let it grow or not.
For example, when you plant a seed in the ground, you have to make sure it has proper sunlight, water, etc. So, when that seed of God is planted in us, what are we going to do about it? Are we going to continue to seek God, learn more about him, choose to serve him, be rooted and grounded in him? Or are you going to let it die away and do nothing about it?
When the seed of salvation is planted, we are presented with the opportunity to let it grow in us so God can grow in us. God could have introduced himself to you through someone else. They could’ve expressed their salvation to you, and you could feel God pulling at you. Are you going to let God in or are you going brush off that conversation like it never happened? Open the door for God to come in and his word, teaching, Holy Ghost to grow in you!
We all grow physically, but you also have to grow spiritually!
