What is in Your Cup?

1 Corinthians 10:21
Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils

This verse is very profound! We cannot drink the cup of the Lord and from the devil's. So many times we say we are Christians or serve God, but our lifestyle says otherwise. You can’t say you are a child of God but you are still choosing to live a life that is serving the devil.

We have to choose who we are going to serve. God doesn’t want us to be lukewarm! We can’t say, oh it’s ok if I serve God and the devil, because what you are doing is serving the devil regardless.

If we are choosing to let sin reign in our lives, we belong to Satan not God. God sees us and he knows our hearts, and he sees everyone who thinks they can fool God. Our flesh wants sin and it feeds off of sin, and we all know we have to battle our flesh and sin everyday, but are you surrendering to your flesh or are you constantly at war with your flesh everyday, and are you not letting your flesh win because you don’t want sin in your life?

God sees our heart, and if you are surrendering to your flesh then you are drinking the cup of devils, and not the Lord’s. If we could satisfy our flesh and serve God then would there be a hell? If we could do whatever we wanted to do and still serve God and go to heaven regardless of what we do then would Jesus have had to die for us?

Jesus died for us because he knew we would need repentance and he gave it to us for the ones who truly want to seek God because the only way to the Father is through Jesus Christ.

If you know you are drinking from the cup of the Lord and the devil stop today ! Surrender all of you to God!
