Where Is Your Joy?

Joy is being happy and grateful for who God is, rather than what he can do. If we give our life over to God completely, we will be filled with joy. But sometimes in our walk we let our joy meters be inconsistent.

And, if our joy is inconsistent, are we truly loving God for who he is, or are we loving him for what we can do?

We may let different things upset us, make us angry, or we just shut down because of how we feel. But, even in the trials, pain, tribulations, and hurting, we can still choose to have joy, because of Jesus!

We need to check when our joy meters are down, to see if we aren't loving God truly for all that he is.

When we have joy, satan is going to try to bring us down, but we can’t let satan take our joy (because it doesn't come from him). No matter what may come your way, don’t let it bring your joy down!

We serve a great God, and that is always something to joy for!
