Who are you

Isaiah 64:8
But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

God created us and he made us in his own image. I was praying in the car the other day and God brought something to my attention. We have to be our authentic self, the person God created us to be. We let the world, different things we experience, and other things we desire or face determine who we are instead of God. We become someone who God didn’t intend for us to be. In the beginning, God made us to glorify his name and to serve him ... don’t lose sight of what God made you to do.

The world will tell us to follow this trend/fashion/lifestyle or this is how you are supposed to act, and we follow what the world says instead being who God say we are. Even our flesh knows who God created us to be, because it is our literal DNA, and it will try everything to make us be the opposite. God knows the power he put in you, and he knows what he has planned for you to do and who he planned for you to be. Satan will come and try to deceive you into being the complete opposite.

Pray and ask God, “Am I who you made me to be? If not, help me to become who you designed me to be!” When we receive God as our Lord and Savior, he helps and guides us, and leads us into who exactly he made us to be. We have to tell the flesh NO! The devil will fight and try to make you something that you are not (like Jesus told Peter: satan seeks to sift you!). But God knows exactly who he called you to be!

Please GOD, not the WORLD!
