Your body belongs to God

“Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We belong to God, and our physical bodies belong to God. I have been praying to God about how I want my temple clean and holy for him and the Holy Ghost to dwell in because my temple belongs to God.

Chief Apostle also went over this during a recent broadcast. God wants to dwell in us, but he isn’t an intruder. We have to open the doors and let God in, but God cannot dwell in a dirty place. We think we can do whatever we choose to do and whatever we feel like in our bodies because “it’s our life,” but it’s not. We were made for God.

God blessed us with life, but he gave everyone a mission. We have work to do! If we want to truly walk and live by the Spirit, we have to let God in! We think of getting tattoos, piercings, etc., when it comes to using our bodies for impure things. We also know that letting in different spirits through what we may watch or hear are also a few examples of impure things. But we violate our temples so much more than these things and God cannot come in.

“Our bodies were made for God, so God can have a vessel he can use, and express himself through our body” this is what Chief Apostle said on the broadcast. Oh, what an honor that God wants to express himself through us, but we don’t really treasure what an honor that is.

I want to keep my temple clean, pure, and holy so God can express himself through me and use me as a vessel. This generation loves to say this is my life or my body and I’m going to do what I want to do, but it’s not our life. We belong to God! We are supposed to be God’s children! We will let the enemy live rent free in our lives and don’t even try to evict him, but evict the enemy today! Tell Satan he has got to leave!
