Your Next Move

What is your next move?

Chess is a strategic game. Two players are going back and forth until one of them says checkmate. When the person says checkmate, they have won the game. But in chess the two players have to take turns making a move. The player you're going against made a great move, but what will your next move be?

I choose the game of chess as an example because we are put in a lot of situations that we have to ask ourselves what we are going to do next? If you get corrected, after the correction comes it's up to you what you're going to do next.

After you learned your lesson, what are you going to do next? Are you going to have to learn that lesson again or do you know better now, so you won’t have to get taught that lesson again? We can ask ourselves what my next move will be.

If you just recently got saved, what is your next move? Are you going to serve God or go back into the world? Every day, we have to think about what our next move will be. Yes, God will direct us and guide us to our next move that he wants us to make. But I'm talking about when God put the decision in your hand, and he is waiting to see what your next move will be.

You just got taught the word, so what are you going to do with the word you were just taught? God wants us to make the right move, he is watching to see what are we going to do? God is holding us responsible for our actions. Let your next move be the right move, pass the test!

James 1:12: Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
