Can Your Love and Faith Be Heard Of?
Greetings Saints:
Today's post focuses on a combination of eye-opening messages that have been taught over the last several services at The Body of Christ, Inc. by Chief Apostle H.C. Gunn. These messages can cause us all to stop and reflect on how we can live and do better not just for ourselves but toward others and God. Let's get started.

"Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers."
Ephesians 1:15-16
Here, the Apostle Paul was encouraging the saints at Ephesus, that when he hears mention of them, he also hears of their faith and how they love one another.
In Philemon 5-6, he brings this same encouragement to a church in one of his fellow soldier's home: "Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus."
When people say your name or speak of you, what comes after it? Can they bear witness to your love? Can they bear witness to your faith?
Chief Apostle H.C. Gunn reminded us about sowing into the lives of others, sowing goodwill and sowing seeds unto the household of faith, not grudging when it's our time to help. He said, no matter what situation we are in, our actions should be a witness to God. He reminded us of the principle of others - Do unto others as we would have them do unto us.
Don't be the person that is always thought of as the one who won't help, the one who won't care, the one who won't get involved.
Now, it's not just about how people think of us, it matters most about what God thinks, but we should have a reputation that reflects God among the saints and in being a witness to others. Can God brag on us like a proud father and talk about how we love, how we believe, how we serve and how we continue?
What if God has nothing to brag about when it comes to us, his children? As Chief Apostle Gunn said, oftentimes, we allow our faith and love to diminish because we have let the word slip.
The word is what inspires us, influences us and teaches us to do right by others and by God. If we don't truly hear the word in our hearts, then we will lack faith because faith comes by hearing, and without faith, it is impossible to please God. Without faith, we can't activate the grace and the peace God has already put in us that allows us to have the courage and commitment to take the time to truly love someone and inquire about their wellbeing -- to love them as we would love ourselves. Without faith, it will be impossible for us to hear God's direction and follow it all the way through, especially when it comes to doing something for someone else or on God's behalf.
Chief Apostle Gunn has used the word exuberant several times during recent services.
Exuberant talks about being joyous, enthusiastic and cheerful about what you do for God and for others. Can God say that you cheerfully help others, cheerfully give unto him, cheerfully participate in service, cheerfully support your pastor, cheerfully care for your spouse and children, cheerfully fast, pray or study the word?
Or is every time your name mentioned or thought of - whether on earth or in heaven - it's preceded by something like this:
"I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent." - Revelations 3: 1b-3
