Don't Let Love Go Part 3

On this week's FORREAL Radio Broadcast, Chief Apostle H.C. Gunn continues the message of "Don’t Let Love Go" with part 3 in this series.

He began this message continuing with the book of Philemon at verse 4, which states: “I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers."

He reminded us to hold onto the love of God. This is a very important reminder, saints. As the message progressed Chief Apostle Gunn said that there are so many things being called love, but the love we need to ruminate is the kind of love that “helps, corrects, instructs and forgives."

The kind of love that makes you always mention others in your prayers as shown in Philemon 1:4 above.

We are charged, saints, to daily seek forever with God, and to be on our watch in expectation of Christ's return. To do that, we must consciously be mindful of the fact that God sent his only begotten son Jesus to die for all of humanity on the cross.

Jesus demonstrated the ultimate love for us by taking our guilt and sins and nailing them to the cross. Nevertheless, although salvation is given freely by grace, Jesus won’t force Himself on you. You can’t have salvation without fulfilling the requirement of believing on the everlasting son of God.

This week the messenger asked us,

1) “Is your love being spoken of?”

2) “Is your love being spoken of in the local body?”

3) “Is your faith toward God and toward man being spoken of?”

Talking about Jesus all day and not showing any evidence of love to the saints is contrary to loving at all. Our love has to be directed first to God and then that love is shown towards all saints. The message that has come forth tells us that if you are truly showing love towards others, even on your jobs, some of the most disingenuous people will still see that love of God exudes from you.

As the song Holy Fire (our church choir and worship team) sings “I Can’t Live Without You,” are you living without God through a lack of love? The message is still ringing out" “Don’t Let Love Go." Will you hold on to love?

The vitality of the Word is demonstrated in these radio broadcasts weekly as God leads Chief Apostle H.C. Gunn to deliver the real spiritual truth that we need to hear. He told us this week that it’s not his intention in any way to bring division, but to bring us together in Christ and with God.

He said: As the Word goes out each week, there are many who are truly blessed and encouraged by the word. That statement should not bring division but action on our part, saints, to put down supporting the world's and our ideas, and instead support God’s Ideas.

This should encourage those individuals who have heard the Word preached to testify through love. That may be in the form of writing a response on the website, testifying at church, offering and giving financial support or a seed, or even encouragement to the pastor that the messages have been a help to you.

Chief Apostle Gunn said a real testimony is not always having a word to say, but the actions one takes is what truly speaks. He said let your love testify for you.
