It's Gonna Be Like God Said

This weekend, on For Real Radio Broadcast, Chief Apostle H. C. Gunn took time out to make mention of the help and efforts of others made towards the furtherance of the ministry and the radio broadcast. He demonstrated genuine gratitude being the leader that he is. The beauty in such a witness is that he has done the same and even more for so many others including myself and my family as I write these words. Chief Apostle began this message referencing the story of Moses going down to Pharaoh in Egypt to plead, as God led him, to “Let My People Go”.

We know the story saints, Pharaoh refused to release God’s people as Moses went to him 10 times. Pharaoh puffed himself up asking, "who is God?"

Yet, with the miracles God wrought through Moses, Pharaoh had to let God’s people go. Chief Apostle said “Whatever God’s word says, whatever word of knowledge God sends you, if you hold on and hold out...God will do whatever it takes.” He said, “whatever God said, it’s gonna be...it’s gonna be.” This a great encouragement saints, as it shows us that God is on our side. Be sure to be standing on the side of right.

People will refuse what’s right to such great lengths that sometimes it seems that they are fighting you, but remember, like Pharaoh, they are fighting against God. Who can win against you when God is on your side. Just be sure you're not fighting God with your emotions or the wrong outlook.

Chief Apostle continued to further prove the point in what God is saying with a reminder of King David and his past before he became King. He told us that “Jesse said everyone else looks like a king, but there’s somebody out there with the sheep that has a testimony. Then he asked the questions: “Are you one out there with the sheep? Are you one that they said would be a nothing, a nobody?” Many of us have experienced that statement at one time or another, but be encouraged. You don’t have to buy into that lie thrown towards you.

You're not the only one who has been mistreated and looked down on. Even Chief Apostle has had that experience as he shared “people would love for your children to be nothing,” while calling his children’s names whom such statements were made against. However, as the message continued we learn that his children will make their marks on the world due to them being impacted by God. They will overcome by the blood of Jesus, and the word of his testimony, having been taught the Word of God.

This is a very significant saints. It means that despite the claims of the world, when God impacts your life, no matter how long it takes, “It’s Gonna Be Like God Said.” It was about 14-15 years later, but David, who didn’t look like it, was having his coronation to be King over Israel just like God said.

There are some things you have to watch out for saints in your thinking. Though Pharaoh released Israel, they returned to the old way of thinking on the way out of bondage. Everything that stood in their path made them say that Moses should have left them alone to die in Egypt. Chief made a powerful statement:

“Isn’t it something that we always want to add to what God has said?”

Realize that’s what the Devil did to cause Adam and Eve’s fall in the Garden --- he added and took away from the word of God.

Chief Apostle Gunn said, “It doesn’t have to look like what God said for it to be what God has said.” We know that despite their thoughts, God went before Israel in a cloud by day, and a pillar of fire by night to light their way out and keep the Egyptians from getting to them. Though it looked like they were doomed God gave them a Red Sea Experience. God can do the same for you, but it requires a change in thinking. Do not focus on how long it takes, or what things look like when God has promised he’ll move for you.

2 Chronicles 20:20: “And they rose early in the morning and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.”

If you hold on to his word:

“It’s Gonna Be Like God Said.”
