What Am I Saying?

This week on For Real Radio Broadcast, Chief Apostle H. C. Gunn began teaching by posing a series of questions. He asked: "what are you claiming? What are you pressing forward to do and be? What resolution have you made about your life before God, about your ministry, about your marriage, your family, your whole walk, and your whole existence?

These are some very significant questions to consider for self-reflection. The questions themselves highlight that we are to have goals, an aim, and an endpoint based on Biblical principles. Are we truly aiming for heaven? As the way we live will determine where we go when we die. In asking these questions, the messenger here shows us that not only are we to consider self, but others because what we do correlates and affects those connected to and around us.

The most important thing in your life should be, if it is not, the word of God. Chief Apostle shows us this when he states that it "is so invaluable that we cannot count the value of the word he (God) has sent to live on the inside of us." That means that God's word has a place to reside and it's not just in the four walls of your church. He has chosen you to live inside of, if you will let him.

The word is to be indwelling so that the word will have feet to reach the farthest corners of the Earth. We are charged to reach others for the kingdom. As the broadcast continued Chief Apostle said that "you can reclaim everything that God has for you, and you can claim even things that have been taken away. You can claim them through the grace of God according to the word as moved on by his spirit." That means that we are charged to win, to recover that which is lost, or has been stolen by the adversary, even things we might have let go of due to a lack of faith. It means that as long as the spirit of God moves on the matter things can and will change, but you have to be in place. You must seek God first "not just hour by hour, but moment by moment" as Chief Apostle said. Inquire of God what to do with daily tasks. Just think "moment by moment" having a mind to include God in your decisions, how much better would the results yielded be if you put Jesus first.

What Am I Saying? can you know the answer to the will of God without questioning and seeking his face. Can you tell if your hair is out of place without looking in the mirror, or someone drawing it to your attention? If the answer is no to these simple questions then how can we navigate the more challenging aspects of life without the proper guidance and direction? Jesus is the answer to knowing, and knowing what to do, but let's not forget he uses hands. Value your pastor. Value God's people whom he uses to give you instructions and guide you along the right path.

That's why the broadcast encourages us to get with Godly people. Pull a check on your circle and see what they really believe. Godly people will help you to put, and keep God first. It's not a time to play around with your faith. It is of crucial importance "what you fill your mind with. It is so important what you fill your heart with" as the messenger stated in this broadcast. He continued that "somethings are not for you to see, some things are not for you to be, somethings are not for you to hear, some things are not for you to say".

We need to ask ourselves self "What Am I Saying?" as Chief Apostle proposed the following questions:

1) Are you speaking your victory? 2) Are you speaking criticism? 3) Are you speaking victimization? 4) Are you speaking the love of God 5) Are you waiting on the wisdom of God before you speak?

This list puts things into perspective on whether your frame of thinking is Godly and if you are truly living for Jesus. As the messenger asked the last question he states that it's one of the areas we are weakest in as saints. So let's change the way we think and change our conversation. I encourage you all to put Jesus first. If it's not what God has said then it doesn't matter as anything other than the word will produce the wrong results.
