911: Shutdown The Devil-Stations!

Please forgive the delay in this post. It has been in the draft folder, and I allowed the busyness of the last week or so to delay the full posting. This is a crucial message that should not have been delayed. It is an important reminder to make sacred time for the things of God .... No matter how early you have to get up or how late you have to stay up.

A powerful message by Chief Apostle Gunn came forward recently that can change the trajectory of our homes, bloodlines, and lives. It inspired this post. Please take time to read it. Please also stay tuned for the next post from this Sunday's Word that God preached through Chief Apostle Gunn. It ties right into this message, "Remove the Curse." Get a head start by reading Joshua 7!

Thanks! - Apostle Kanya

"Neither give place to the devil." - Ephesians 4:27

It's a verse many of us know, but few of us have consistently applied to our life. The verse is not just about not letting the devil get to you, interfere with your blessings, or tempt you to sin. If we listen, it speaks loudly about ensuring that the devil and his demons have no room to move in and dwell in our lives, homes, marriages, families, bodies, and especially among our children.

Yes, this scripture is not just symbolism (as the world would have it), it is actual. It is our reality. By not watching, not praying, not waiting, not caring, not giving, not denying ourselves, not surrendering to God, not fasting according to Isaiah 58, and not inviting the Lord into our homes, we are sending the devil a direct invitation to create an open-door policy agreement with us ... coming in and out as he pleases, devouring and destroying everyone and everything from the inside-out. It is the name of Jesus and the power of his blood that makes demons flee, so if they are sticking around then perhaps his name can not be found in our homes, in our relationships, in our parenting, and even in our profession that we are saved. Perhaps we really aren't living under the coverage of the blood and drawing from that fountain that never loses power.

By definition: To give place means to make room, to yield, to allow something to substitute or fill in space. A place can be a particular portion of space, whether of definite or indefinite extent. This means that by our decisions, our actions, our lack of action, our lack of living the Word and obeying it, we can be allowing the devil and his demons to take up space and residence in and around our homes.... Even when we can't see or feel their activity, they are working around the clock to ensure sinful, cursed, and unholy things/ideas rule in our homes.

Recently, at the Body of Christ, Inc., Chief taught us about devil stations. The Lord revealed to him that many of us have stations and tunnels that the devil has built under our homes ... serving as a portal and freeway, where he and his demons can reign, relax, ravage and have their way.

So, how did this happen, especially among the church? Chief said God revealed the term devil-station to him after he and his wife/co-pastor, Apostle Felicia Gunn, were discussing and praying about the things of God. The word devastation came up. She told him that it sounded like what was behind the word was devil-station and he said, "yes, that's it."

Devastation means "the state or fact of being rendered nonexistent, physically unsound, or useless." So, what have we agreed to, believed, or not believed, allowed, or not allowed in our lives that have given the devil license to move right into our homes? When we are asleep or doing our own thing he is moving about executing his mischievous plans. Because our homes have gone unprotected and unsealed by not living the Word of God and failing to listen to, support, and obey the teaching.

Here are some questions that reveal the portals we have allowed the devil to create: What have we allowed our children to do behind closed doors or what have we ignored? What have we allowed them to believe? What have we failed to teach them? Where have we failed to back up the Word of God? Where have they seen us being double-minded and living double lives? Where have they not seen us delighting in the Lord, talking to him, praising him? Where have they seen us holding back on the household of faith? Where have they seen us caught up in idle and idol things? What actions and decisions have we made that has rendered the spirit and will of God nonexistent in our homes or that have made our homes so useless to the kingdom to the point where the devil feels comfortable around us? What have we said or believed in our hearts that made the devil even realize that he has access to move in and stay? What about our conduct as adults? Do we bear the fruit of salvation and repentance?

Our homes should be fortified by our watching, praying, worship, giving, fasting, teaching our children, and taking the teaching ourselves. If we are letting devices (phones, tablets, TV, games, music, movies, friends, cousins, and the like, watch and raise our kids instead of doing what is required, then we might as well just let the devil come in through the front door (because we are not allowing any room for the Lord to reign in their lives). As Chief has explained, sometimes it's things that seem innocent or not a big deal that opens hell wide open in our lives.

Remember God does not impose himself on us. We must be willing. If we love money, things, entertainment, people, relationships, and our jobs more than God, then that's what we are raising our children to do and we are abusing them by allowing the devil, a predator, to have access to their lives.

I'm going to end here because I believe this is a post we all need to use to take time to examine ourselves. And as I close, I want to leave you with these two scriptures as food for thought. To me they ask the question: Do you want Heaven or hell knocking at your door and sitting in your living room? Let's destroy the devil-stations today!!!!!

Revelation 3:20: Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

1 Peter 5:8: "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."
