Be Righteous: Youth Blog

Righteousness means the quality or state of being morally correct and justifiable. Isaiah 33:15-17 says: He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands, lest they hold a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking on evil, he will dwell on the heights; his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks; his bread will be given him; his water will be sure. Your eyes will behold the king in his beauty; they will see a land that stretches afar. Proverbs 21:3 says: To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. Be righteous. We have to make sure we are living a just and right life. In everything we do, it should be just and right. God is righteousness and he does things just and right. We have to check ourselves and see where we have not been just or right in a situation. I have younger siblings and we go back and forth a lot.
