Come Now! The Watch Letter
Editor's Note: We did not post last week due to travel, so this weekend's posts are longer because they include posts prepared from earlier.
God’s love is unfailing. He loves us so much that he will keep fighting for us, even when we don’t fight for ourselves. So, often - and I am guilty - we let the Word of God slip. We say amen, but before we know it, it's gone behind our ears instead of into them. But God will bring His Word around again, because, as the Bible says, he will not let His Word return to Him void. He’s cleaning behind our ears, where we have let the word pile up, and bringing it back to the forefront so this time we can allow it to go from our ears (receiving), to our hearts (yielding), to our hands (doing).
Apostle Tee shared a video with members of our Body earlier this week that is a testimony from a pastor who thought he had given up everything to serve God, but the Lord showed him where while his acts may have seemed righteous to man what was in his heart and his ways was not pleasing to God. One of the scriptures the Lord gave him was in Isaiah 1. I read the whole chapter and it was grieving to read the case God has brought against His people, that includes me, because of our inward rebellion and secret sin. But as I read, I found notes from a message our Pastor Chief Apostle Gunn preached almost three years ago in August 2020.
I am going to share some of the notes, and some comments below, as well as some parts of Isaiah 1, another scripture Chief Apostle Gunn gave, and a link to the video Apostle Tee found (PLEASE WATCH IT). I thank God for his grace and another opportunity to repent and turn back to Him. I thank God for Chief Apostle Gunn, who is resilient in saying to us thus says the Lord no matter what.
Chief Apostle Gunn said: God said “Come Now!”
God said, “Stop being unreasonable.” “Love not the world.” “Wash and put away your evil, sinful thoughts.”
His message was based on: “Come now, and let us reason together (prove, decide, judge, rebuke, reprove, correct, be right), saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” (Isaiah 1:18)
(Side note: Those words reason and unreasonable stood out to me. Unreasonable can mean: contrary, not agreeable, unguided, inappropriate, headstrong, excessive, or immoderate. Reason can mean: To distinguish truth from falsehood/good from evil, and to deal clearly and fairly. What I learned from looking up those words and finding notes from Chief Apostle Gunn’s message is that reasoning together with God is how we can get aligned with Him and see what is acceptable and not acceptable to Him. When we are being unreasonable we are unwilling to do or seek out what is acceptable to God or we are overlooking what is in us (even around us) that is unacceptable to God.)
Chief Apostle Gunn also taught that we are not reasoning with God about ourselves/situations but instead blaming others/other things.
He also said we’ve been negligent and delinquent in offering our hearts, family, money, troubles to God, etc.
He said God is trying to bring us back to the original state he intended us to be in. He said we must seek to do what is just. We can go to hell for not standing up for what is right or standing up for something that is not right in God’s sight.
And the only way we will know what is right is if we get with God and reason with Him. Chief Apostle Gunn has always taught us to get real and be real with God. Going back over these notes, Isaiah 1 and the video testimony Apostle Tee shared have helped me to better see what Chief Apostle Gunn has been saying all along.
Isaiah 1 also says: 2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me. 3 The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider. (This is one of the scriptures the Lord gave the pastor who shared his testimony that I mentioned above.)
2 Corinthians 6:13-18 was the other scripture from Chief Apostle Gunn’s message back in 2020 and it ties right in:
13 Now for a recompense in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged. 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
When I turned to this scripture, I found notes from another message, where Chief Apostle Gunn taught that if Jesus really is our Lord like we say he is, we would have proof. He said proof of Jesus as our Lord will be found in our prayer life. He said we need to examine what really matters to us and humble ourselves and truly work out our callings. We need to ask ourselves if we really care about the things and house of God. We need to ask ourselves if we are really trying to change for God. God doesn’t bring about change without us truly trying.
Here is the video testimony Apostle Tee shared.

Please pray for our leader Chief Apostle Gunn and his companion, Apostle Felicia, as they continue to travel coast to coast to do the will of God and help turn our nation, communities, and families back to the Lord. God is calling us to sow into the work of his people and his field. You can do that now at this link!
Amen, Apostle Kanya!!!! God is truly trying to get us to line up with what he has been saying all alone concerning our lives as his children & he keeps bringing the things that we let slip back around. It's almost like He's tired of reasoning & pleading with us to get us to return back to him...I know this that I would have died on spot with the way that the pastor was being corrected by God...I'm so thankful for his grace & his mercy, as well as having a chance to clean up my life!!!! Stay encouraged!!!! ❤️
