He'll Do It Again

God is a God that doesn't mind repeating himself. I know for me, repeating what I said over and over again can become a pet peeve, and I need to work on that, because I need to learn patience like my Father. But thank God that our Father, our Lord doesn't mind repeating himself and his patience with us is as unending as his love.

He doesn't mind allowing us to be born again, delivering us again, restoring us again, healing us again, setting us free again, sending his word again, directing our path again, performing miracles again, sending provision again, hearing our cry in prayer again, comforting us again, sending that opportunity again, refilling us with the Holy Ghost again, remaking and reshaping our lives and situations again.

At The Body of Christ Inc., Chief Apostle H.C. Gunn has been teaching about rededicating ourselves and our bloodlines to Christ. In other words, he is telling us that God is saying "come again!"

He also told us that the Lord said "receive your salvation before it's too late." Don't let another moment, another day pass by without coming again to God. Look to Jesus again!

But let's not take the power of "again" for granted either. When he allows that “again,” let's stay in place and hold on to it too! Don’t miss the invitation of God’s “again” for your life.

It reminds me of a few years ago when Chief Apostle Gunn preached a message about Elijah and his servant, when they were in the midst of battle. God had sent help via the spirit, but the servant could not see it yet, so Elijah told him to look again.

1 Kings 18:43-46 KJV

And Elijah said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not. And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

There is nothing too hard for God. As Chief Apostle said recently, the only time something is impossible is when we make God number 2 in our lives, instead of number 1, and we don't give him the space to be Lord over our whole lives. He can handle and fix anything, but it's all about our willingness to seek him and come back to him - our willingness to look and try again.

Even though the children of Israel were disobedient, God pleaded with them to repent again so he could deliver them again and heal them again:

2 Chronicles 7:14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

There is an “again” for you today, no matter where you are. You can exchange what you are facing, and even where you failed, for something new in Christ.

Isaiah 61

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.

6 But ye shall be named the Priests of the Lord: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.

7 For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

It took a while for me to know what should be on this blog today. However, I knew it was supposed to be a message of encouragement and hope. And when I started to write, this is what came, along with the song below. Be encouraged saints!

He'll do it again (Oh He'll do it again) He'll do it again (Yes He will do it again) If you'll just take a look At where you are now And where you've been Hasn't He always come through for you He's the same now as then (Don't you know God has not changed) You may not know how You may not know when But He'll do it again

God knows the things that you're going through And how you're hurting He understands just how your heart Has been broken in two He's the God of the sun, the stars, the sea He is your Father He'll calm the storm He'll find a way and He'll fix it for you

He'll do it again (Oh He'll do it again) He'll do it again (Yes He will do it again) Yes He will Just take a look At where you are now And where you've been Hasn't He always come through for you He's the same now as then (Don't you know God has not changed) You may not know how You may not know when But He'll do it again

He's still God and He will not fail you He's still God, He has not changed I know He's still God and He's fighting for you Just like Daniel, just like Moses Just like Shadrach and Meshach, Abednego

He'll do it again, yes He will (Oh He'll do it again) He'll do it again (Yes He will do it again) Just take a look At where you are now And where you've been Hasn't He always come through for you He's the same now as then (Don't you know God has not changed) You may not know how You may not know when But He'll do it again I know that He will

You don't have to know how You don't have to know when You don't have to know how God will absolve you You don't know, you don't know how He's gonna do it I want you to put your whole world into God's hands He'll wipe the tears from your eyes Just hang in there
