I Give You My Today: Youth Blog

Romans 12:1 says: "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." I am a college student and I drive to school and in the morning on the way to school I make sure to pray. One of the things I say is "God, I give you my today." Giving God your every day is a part of presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice. We don’t know what God could have planned in our day, what he might want to use us for, or what he may want to show us, etc. So, if we give God our today, we are inviting him in and asking for his will to be done throughout the day, and every day.
