Stay Clean! - Youth Blog

As humans we take showers because we want to keep our bodies clean. If we go without bathing, we will start to have an odor, be itchy, feel dirty, get infections, etc. In Psalm 51, we see the words wash, clean, whiter, renew, restore, joy, salvation, Holy spirit, etc. God wants us to be clean! God will restore, renew, wash, and cleanse us. We can get our joy back, walk in our salvation, and have a pure heart for God, etc., when we are willing to be clean from our ways and sins. When we are physically unclean it is a disgusting feeling, but spiritually how clean are we? Does it bother us when we are spiritually unclean?
