The Killer in Your Home: The Watch Letter

Today, our Pastor, Chief Apostle H.C. Gunn, sent out an urgent message, so I wanted to be sure to post this here so it is on the record and so everyone possible receives this warning. He asked, "who is the murderer-in-chief in your home?" This question was in reference to the devil stations that we are allowing to operate in our homes.

More than a year ago, probably two years, the Lord showed Chief Apostle Gunn that the saints, those who profess to be saved and follow the Lord, were allowing devil stations to run rampant in their homes. This was a strong warning that first came directly to our body and it is still ringing out today.

Going back to "murderer-in-chief": If we are the ones who we know God is expecting to be keeping watch for our home's spiritually but are failing to do so and are allowing devil stations to operate then we are the chief murderer responsible for promoting the spiritual death of our loved ones. And if we are allowing certain conduct and activity to continue, whether openly or by chosen ignorance/turning a blind eye, we are also guilty of negligent homicide. Our negligence is our refusal to care, pay attention, correct, confess, communicate, and deal straight, which can also lead to someone's physical demise.

Chief Apostle Gunn once described the devil stations as places where the devil and his demons have free rein to come in and out of our homes as they please. They can be accessing our homes through our decisions, our conversations, our habits, what we are allowing to be read, watched, and listened to, what we are doing or allowing to be done on devices, what is happening behind closed doors, the things we aren't checking, our failure to take the teaching and back up the word, lack of prayer and time with God and his word, selfishness, and isolation, undermining or rebelling against God's or his prophet's instructions, etc.

Let's look at the word "Station."

  • a regular stopping place where people get on and off a transport

  • a place where regular, consistent activity takes place

  • an organization/location broadcasting information and content

Take a moment to think about that. As we sit and sleep in our homes demons are making regular stops and visits having their way. Imagine a busy bus station, train station, or airport but instead of people, they are demons. Imagine those demons using our homes to broadcast out the devil's will to the people who live with us, around us, and beyond.

This is serious.

I was seeking to learn more about how we are allowing these devil stations to operate and when I was reading Romans 10, I found some key points that were eye-opening.

In reading verse 1 of Romans 10, it brought to mind that the heart desire of the people of God should be God's heart desire, which is that others would be saved. So, perhaps one way we are being murderers-in-chief is that we don't really want our loved ones to be saved. If we aren't enforcing and living out the word and ways of God, we are allowing the devil stations to keep those in our home from being fully surrendered to Christ.

Sometimes we don't want people to be saved because we don't want them to see us for who we really are and we don't want them to be emboldened and strengthened by the Spirit of God. We don't want them to be further than us spiritually or to have expectations of us. We don't want correction and uprightness in our homes. We want to be able to maintain control and the best way we think to do that is to allow chaos. Chief Apostle Gunn taught on today's radio broadcast that holiness brings peace and rest and unholiness brings chaos and confusion.

In Verse 2 of Romans 10, I read how people have zeal (enthusiasm) for God and the outward appearance to be saved but they choose to be stubbornly ignorant on the inside. They refuse to have true intimate knowledge of God and only want to "know of him." The devil knows and seeks out those who don't really know God or who choose to be ignorant of the things of God.

Verse 3 of Romans 10 talks about how people prefer to establish their own righteousness. In other words, they abide by their own rules and teach others to do so, as to water down the commandments and expectations of God. They refuse to submit themselves to God and his teaching and don't want anyone else to because that means they will be required to be accountable to God. So, when you hate or disregard accountability, Godly knowledge, and holiness, then in essence you are a murderer because you would rather see someone be turned inside out by the devil than for them to be sold out to God. Lord forgive us!

There was a woman a few years back who randomly turned a gun on her two children, killing them and then killing herself. That is the visual I just got when thinking of what it could mean to be a murderer-in-chief. When you don't care about your outcome or are selfish about it, you don't truly care about your children, your spouse, or anyone else living in your home or your family ... you don't see the value of your own soul being saved nor theirs so you either allow the devil to destroy them or you help the devil to destroy them yourself. How much different are we from that woman who murdered her children in her home?

1 Peter 5:8

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

2 Timothy 3

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.

Jude 1:4

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Luke 17

1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

Listen to today's FORREAL RADIO BROADCAST by Chief Apostle Gunn "Mountain Moving Faith" below. It talks about how to have faith and be faithful to God we have to hear. We have to wait on God and listen. And that is the key. It is our refusal to listen, wait and hear that causes us to be so cold-hearted to the things of God.
